How A Mattress Is Made

Holder Mattress combines old-world quality with new age technology to bring you a better way to sleep. Only the most natural materials are used for the padding and quilting layers. Natural materials such as hypo-allergenic wool and latex foam give you a more luxurious, more comfortable sleep. The mattress surface is more breathable, which means in the summer you’re naturally cooler and in the winter you’re naturally warmer.

Customized Comfort — No Corners Cut
It takes about 90 minutes to complete a Holder mattress. Compare this to the mass production assembly-line technique, which takes about 30 minutes or so, and you’ll soon realize that faster does not equal better.

Twice as many fasteners are used to insure that the edges of your mattress are secure and tight. Traditional collapsible coils are used in the spring construction to serve as shock absorbers and give you an added dimension of comfort.

A layered padding technique is used to create your mattress. Padding is the key to your support– ultra firm, soft top, or ultra plush. Any level of support can be tailored to fit your comfort preference. Each layer is fastened every 4-6 inches which keeps the material from shifting. Each layer is actually pulled over the edge of the spring construction to enhance your total body support. It’s then tucked and tapered. It may take more time in production but Holder Mattress Co., Inc. believes you’re worth it.
