As a third generation owner, I’ve personally watched this business grow. My grandfather, Lyle Holder, started the business in 1947 with less than $1000.00 and six rusty springs. I know the story well. From the time that I was a small child, he taught me to build a product of which I could be proud. He taught me to treat my customers as my neighbors. Most importantly, he taught me to have courage in always doing what is right. It is with his lessons and the guidance of my parents that I am able to achieve success in our family business.
I graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from Purdue University in 2004 and have been leading this company full time ever since. I feel incredibly blessed to come to work each day. I have a passion for this industry and though it has changed much in the last few years, this is my dream job. I design comfort for a living and do it amid coworkers that I consider my extended family. When I’m not searching for the latest chic home accessory or quality heirloom furniture, I’m at home in Carmel, Indiana, with my husband, Rich Taylor, our son, Ryker Taylor and our two rescue dogs.
